Yeshua Hebrew translation: Salvation
Peter and Grace were living every parent’s nightmare, there only child was terminally ill. Peter and Grace tried everything they could possibly think of to help their child. They flew in specialist, tried the latest medicines but it wasn’t enough, their child was dying. For weeks they sat helpless next to their beloved child as they watched her suffer and writhe in agonizing pain. They wanted to bring her home to the beautiful pink bedroom they designed just for her but she was too weak to be moved, sadly she would be bound to that hospital bed till the end. Like any great parent Peter and Grace had only one prayer and hope; that they could somehow take their child’s place and exchange their life and health for hers.
The story you just read is a very tragic but true story you see Peter and Grace represent God who is our Rock and it is His grace that He desires to pour out upon you. You are the terminal ill child because when Man fell we became infected with sin. God sent the prophets, messengers and He raised up great men and women hoping to save us but it wasn’t enough, the disease [sin] was still killing us. So like the Great Parent He is He made the ultimate sacrifice and paid the ultimate price…. He took our place.
The bible says, “The word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14) NIV. “For God so loved the world (you) that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) NIV.
Jesus took our sin, “He was wounded for our transgressions.”, He took our punishment, “He was bruised for our iniquities.”(Isaiah 53:5). Jesus, the Great Parent, willingly took our terminal illness and exchanged it for the grace of God that was upon Him “Out of His fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.” (John 1:16). Yeshua took it all so that we may no longer be bound to our bed of sin but free in God’s love and Grace. “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1).
Thanks to Jesus Christ we are no longer terminally ill but alive, well and able to live the abundant life that our Father wants us to live.
Jesus Christ is Yeshua, the Great Parent!
“For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.” Romans 6:14 NKJV
I thank God for His love and unmerited grace. Be blessed God’s people
